Spotlight on OT image

We met Leah during the pandemic while planning our Wednesday live series. Leah is a delight to collaborate with, and it’s our pleasure to watch what she continues to do with her practice Nurtured Pediatrics. With March being Women’s History Month, we are honored to feature Leah, Doctor of OT, Business owner, Daughter, Friend, and soon-to-be mama!

Leah Foreman
OTD, Owner of Nurtured Pediatrics

Leah Foreman completed her training and education at Ohio University, Pima Medical Institute, and University of St. Augustine. She has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist since 2014, working and training in various pediatric settings including acute care, home health, and outpatient care. She is also trauma-informed and passionate about our neurological system’s ability to process information and emotion and how these processes affected us in daily routines.

She chose to work within home care because she believes working with children in their natural environment is the most therapeutic environment.

Throughout her career, she has made it a goal to help caregivers and children develop nurturing and connected relationships during every day routines and moments.

Find your mentors and meet with them! No one is meant to do this alone and our profession has so many wise OTs who are willing to share their knowledge.
