We first learned about Meagan when she attended an orientation with us! She is the author of an amazing book on Early Intervention that we believe in and support wholeheartedly. We have been lucky enough to get to know Meagan better over time, and we absolutely LOVE that she has a dog rescue company!
Meagan currently works as a pediatric occupational therapist in the Bronx providing related services for children with special needs. Meagan is also the founder of Strong Paws Rescue, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to end animal homelessness. Meagan hopes to provide a safe haven for dogs until a permanent family is found. Meagan started Strong Paws with the aspiration of eventually combining her love of animals and children into the creation of a sanctuary to enrich the loves of both children and animals with special needs.

Always do your best to keep an open mind – especially when a session may not be going as anticipated. There are many external factors that can be impacting our kiddos daily lives – such as sleep, nutrition & living environment. Be kind, and be patient.
